Old Uzbekistani household decoration called saye gosha.  Natural vegetable dyes are used and will bleed if they get wet.  These hand-embroidered pieces are used to drape over folded linens, pillows or other household items when stored.  This one has a floral pattern embroidered on a deep red background fabric. Woolly black crochet fringe underneath.  

Measured along the top edge, the arms are about 26.5 inches long for a total of about 53 inches.  Bottom woolly fringe can be removed to use separately and measures about 45.5 inches along its top edge.  Embroidery is about 5.5 inches across. Measurement of fringe including crochet band is approximately 5 inches hanging.
