Old Uzbekistani household decoration called saye gosha.  Natural vegetable dyes are used and will bleed if they get wet.  These hand-embroidered pieces are used to drape over folded linens, pillows or other household items when stored.  This one has a floral pattern embroidered on a dark red background fabric. Woolly black crochet fringe underneath.  

Measured along the top edge, the arms are about 18 inches long for a total of about 36 inches.  Bottom woolly fringe can be removed to use separately and measures about 51 inches along its top edge.  Embroidery is wide at about 9 inches across. Measurement of longer black tassels including crochet band is approximately 6 inches hanging.
