These beautiful coats are hand embroidered on hand-loomed silk fabric in traditional Turkoman colors. These coats are worn draped across the shoulders of the bride with the sleeves tied together, like a cape. This one is fully open and ready to wear.  Hand-loomed silk fabric has a soft sheen to it. This one also has hand-made fringe along the bottom edge. Measures about 52" from sleeve end to sleeve end across the shoulders, 40" from shoulder to hem and about 42" across the chest. 3.5" fringe. Lined with printed cotton fabric. Sleeves are embroidered on front side only, but the neckline and hemline embroidery are  continuous.  Also known as a wedding chyrpy or kurteh, these coats make beautiful festival or renaissance faire wear.
