Lovely Balochi vintage tribal headpiece with crescent tikka pendant.

Headpiece length (side to side):  14 Inches from end to end, not including fabric ties
Width of Metal Linked Band:  About 1.25 inch not including beading and bells
Materials:  Mixed Metals, Glass Jewels, Fabric Base, Glass Beads
Metal Color:  Silvery
Metal Finish:  Unpolished
New fabric backing with a bit of beading on the top edge.  Fabric ties to secure, or sew to another headpiece base. 

This vintage Balochi headpiece is made in a design typical for the Pakistani tribes.  Beautiful crescent tikka pendant in the center.  Built on a fabric base, with ties on each end and from the center top. Metal headpiece measures about 14 inches end to end.  Metal band is about 1 inch wide, not including bells and fabric.  Colorful glass jewels.  The quality of this piece is very good and it is in excellent condition.  Metal headpiece is very clean.  Fabric backing is new and has a bit of beading along the top edge.  

The Baloch or Baluch are a people who live mainly in the Balochistan region of the southeastern-most edge of the Iranian plateau in Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan, as well as in the Arabian Peninsula.
