Upper arm bands from the Zulu people of South Africa.  These bands are flexible for easy on / off wear.  About 1/8 of an inch wide.  13 inches inner diameter.  Brass color with a bit of copper detailing.  These look a little like a long spring and they will indeed give a little like a spring does if pulled slightly.

The Zulu people live mostly in South Africa and are distributed between urban and rural areas.  The Zulu wear a variety of attire, both traditional for ceremonial or culturally celebratory occasions, and modern westernized clothing for everyday use. The women dress differently depending on whether they are single, engaged, or married.  Their beaded jewelry is well-known and is made from small seed beads.  While the women make the beaded jewelry, it is worn by both men and women alike, with a rainbow of colors that each have certain meanings, both positive and negative.

Price listed is for a set of THREE armbands.
