Moroccan pectoral adornment from the Anti-Atlas Mountain region. These ornaments are usually worn between a pair of fibula and cover the chest area. This one is made from coins and rings with lots of colorful glass jewels. There is a hook in the center to help distribute some of the weight of the piece. These are stunning when worn traditionally, but are equally impressive when suspended across the front of skirt under a decorated belt. Soldered loops for attaching rings for fibula or sewing to clothing. Shown here on a full size dress form. 17 inches from left to right loops. 9 inches from top of center hook to bottom of center coin dangles. This item is eligible for layaway!
