Large old Taguemout egg bead from the Moroccan Western Anti-Atlas region. These eye-catching beads are usually found as the focal point on necklaces and fibula chains. Blue, green and orange enamel. This bead is hollow and about 2-3/8 inches across the long width and almost 2 inches across the shorter width. Please see photo of bead being held in hand for an idea of size. Hole for stringing is 1/8 inch across. Unusually large size.
