Beautiful old traditionally designed silver amulet case (mandaliy) on thread-wrapped necklace with large silver beads. Reddish pink glass jewels and lots of dangling bells add detail and a lovely jingle. Necklace is 20.5 inches long and fastens with a knot and loop closure. Amulet case is about 4 inches wide and 2 inches long including bales and bells. This type of amulet case is worn by the Banjara and Gadoliya tribal people of Rajasthan.
