This piece is a bit of a mystery.  A small silver band of sterling grade silver flowers, links and tiny bells with two small silver beads holding bead and pom tassels.  Finely worked in sterling silver.  Currently has short ties of braided yard on each end. 

This piece measures just a bit under 7 inches from end ring to end ring and just over 1.5 inches wide including the tiny bells.  The ties add 4 inches to each end but could easily be replaced with whatever you choose.  This was received as part of a mixed lot of items from India and the style further confirms the origin.  Was this a bracelet?  A short choker?  An upper arm band?  Part of a headpiece?  Only the maker knows it's original purpose, it could have been meant for so many different things.  Now it can be whatever you wish it to be! 

This piece has a nice weight, is solidly made and in very good condition.  Not extremely old, but may be anywhere from 25 to 50 years.
