Old glass talhakimt from West Africa. These pretty and unusual items are used for pendants, hair adornments and other decoration, mostly in Mali and Mauritania. These are made in many different sizes and colors, usually of glass or agate. This one is 2-3/16 inches long and about 1-3/8 inches wide. Red talhakimt has a chip out of one side, the other side is in good condition and this piece would look great as a pendant or other adornment. Priced according to condition at $15.
