Pair of old silver Turkoman pendants with carnelian cabachons.  These may have been headpiece pendants, or could possibly have been used on clothing.  Traditional Turkoman etched design on round silver plates.  Slightly convex in shape, something like a small shield.  Each pendant is 2-1/8 inches across with a bale on each side.  Bales on one of the pendants are in great condition.  The other pendant has one bale that is worn but still solid.  The other looks as if it may have been worn through, however the metal is strong and it could easily be curled in to be used as is, or could be silver soldered to make it a bit stronger.  Beautiful translucent carnelians.

These would make great additions to a headpiece or could easily be used on a bra or belt to add beautiful detailing.
