Old tribal headpiece from Morocco.  Adorned with wirework and large glass jewels, a bit of enameling on small dangles, four coins and glass beads.  A hook attached to chains holds the top of the headpiece and a band around the back ties it into place. 

The original headpiece is comprised of three metal plates which have been sewn down to leather and fabric.  From end to end (coins) this piece is about 17.5 inches.  The leather band is about 2.5 inches wide.  Fabric base is 35 inches long.  Center metal plate is 5 inches wide and 5 inches from the top to the bottom of the dangles.  Handmade chain attaches the top central hook to the top of the center plate.  The fabric is clean and looks like it has been recently replaced.   

An interesting old tribal piece.  Red/gold scarf is not included.
