Moroccan necklace with glass and large copal beads, clay beads and metal cones with jewels. Copal is a tree resin that has the look and feel of amber, but is not as old. The copal is formed into beads and used in all types of jewelry in many areas of east and north Africa. Center egg bead, called taguemout, has three coin dangles. Beautiful warm colors and traditional design. Beaded section is about 22 inches long with two 8 inch braided ties. This necklace has been restrung on new fiber. Length can be adjusted by tying longer or shorter.
